Griddle shrimp it's fast, easy, and delicious. What else could you ask for. This is a great appetizer to make while you wait for you steaks to be done.

My three take aways.
1. It cooks very fast so do it last and make sure you watch it.
2. If you are doing more than 10 skewers would be very helpful so you aren't flipping shrimp all night long.
3. Try different seasonings and marinades this is just a base recipe.

  • 12 raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbspn butter unsalted
  • 2 cloves garlice minced
  • 1 whole lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Preheat griddle to 375-400 degrees and squirt down some oil.
  • Place butter and garlic in the oil and let it melt for about 15 seconds
  • Put all the shrimps on the griddle in the butter. Spread them out so they don't touch each other.
  • Sprinkle them with salt and pepper or seasonings of choice. Old bay is really good.
  • Flip Shrimps after about two minutes then squeeze the lemon juice on to them
  • After two more minutes or when they turn a light pink pull them off the griddle. It really should only take about 4 to 5 minutes top.
  • Enjoy and Keep on Griddln'
